Engr. Afolabi Oladele

Afolabi Oladele brings 25 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and 22 years of private equity practice in the leading private equity firm African Capital Alliance. His earlier experience was mostly with the state Oil company, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, serving in various capacities culminating in his last appointment as Group Executive Director for Down Stream Operations in 1995. While employed with NNPC, he was seconded at different times to Total France and Mobil Exploration USA. Upon retirement in 1996, he joined African Capital Alliance with a mandate to develop the Oil and Gas Practice along with oversight for the payment services investments. He retired as Executive Partner in December 2019 and continues to sit on the Boards of a number of quoted and privately owned Nigerian companies and international companies spanning energy, engineering and financial services activities.
