This book was born out of a simple but important question: What does Scripture actually teach about tithing and Christian giving?
Over the years, Louis Akanimo encountered sincere believers who desired to honour God with their resources but were often uncertain about how biblical giving should be practised under the New Covenant. Many had inherited strong convictions about tithing but had never personally examined the biblical evidence behind those beliefs.
Driven by a desire for clarity rather than controversy, he embarked on a careful study of Scripture, tracing the themes of tithing, stewardship, generosity, ministry support, and worship throughout the biblical narrative.

Louis Akanimo is a legal practitioner with nearly two decades of experience and serves as the Managing Partner of Aes Triplex LP, a leading commercial law firm headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Beyond his legal career, Louis is deeply committed to the teaching of God’s Word. During his years at the University of Ibadan, he served as the 7th President of the Redeemed Christian Fellowship. He currently serves as a pastor with the Christian Brethren Church in Lagos and regularly ministers in churches, conferences, and Christian gatherings.
Passionate about helping believers understand God’s mind in Scripture, Louis combines careful biblical study with practical application, making complex theological subjects accessible to everyday Christians.
He is married to Ucheka Akanimo, and they are blessed with three children.
