Your Home Was Never Meant to Be a Battleground

Build a home that is filled with peace, unity, and the visible presence of God.

You know the feeling.

That tension in the room after an argument.

The exhaustion of acting one way in public while feeling frustrated behind closed doors. You love your spouse. You love your children. You pray, you attend church, and you read the Bible.

Yet, something seems…off about your home.

There is a specific loneliness that you cannot exactly name. It’s a feeling that seems like your family members are people who are trying more not to offend themselves rather than relating based on genuine intimacy.

The Cost of a Broken Home

We treat family tension as a season we just need to “get through.” We tell ourselves things will change when the kids are older or the finances stabilise.

But a home without a spiritual foundation does not fix itself. It erodes. Here are some signs of a shaky home:

  • The emotional stress: Walking on eggshells in your own home because you don’t want to offend anyone.
  • The spiritual drain: Losing your fire for God because your home environment saps your energy.
  • The generational cycle: Realising you are passing down patterns of silence and control to your children.

However, most people still think the problem is a lack of effort. They think they need to endure and pray longer. But you cannot out-work a structural problem. If the foundation is wrong, building intimacy in your home would feel like a difficult task.

About The Book

Love is NOT a Feeling

We are told “God is love,” and we interpret that as a vague sentiment. We treat love like an emotion that happens to good people.

But the nature of God is love.

Also family is God’s primary system for showing His nature on earth. It is a functional environment designed to work according to spiritual laws. When you ignore these laws, the system breaks. When you honour them, the system produces peace.

So, stop trying to fix your family. Instead, learn the principles to build the best family possible.

Introducing: He Set Them In Families

This is not a “how-to” book with five-step formulas for better marriage. This is the only guide you’ll need to build a happy and sustainable family according to biblical principles.

What Happens When You Build According to God’s Word?

When you build your home with these principles, the atmosphere shifts. You stop fighting each other and start fighting for the vision God has for your life. You would gain:

  • Clarity: Understand the distinct roles of men, women, and children in the family.
  • Peace: Establish a culture where disagreements lead to understanding rather than resentment.
  • Practice: Move love from a definition to a system your children can see and feel.
  • Testimony: Transform your home into a place so unified it becomes a witness of God’s character to everyone who enters.
  • Authority: Access the spiritual protection that a divided house can not hold.

Who This Book is For

This book  is a specific blueprint for those who are tired of “performing” Christianity and are ready to build a home that lasts.

This book is for you if:

  • You are Married (or preparing to be): You want to move past the honeymoon phase or the “roommate phase” and establish a partnership built on a spiritual but also functional basis.
  • You are a Leader: You serve in your church or community but feel the burden of the gap between your public ministry and your private family life.
  • You are Tired of Tension: You love your family deeply, but you are exhausted by the constant cycle of silent treatments, loud arguments, or walking on eggshells.
  • You are a Parent: You want to provide your children with a secure, peaceful environment that serves as a living testimony of God’s nature, rather than just a list of rules.
